.GOV – How do they work?
.GOV – Introduced 1985 is a sponsored Top-Level domain that is a shortened version of word Government and restricted use by Government entities. The .GOV domain has never been restricted as to whom can use it and is only used by Government entities that can find a unique “Lower Level” domain combination, < Your Organization or blog name > .GOV All domain names contain two “domains” (AaronTechDesign.com) with the .GOV being your domain suffix.
